Backseat Events can specify, source, supply and install professional audio, lighting and AV equipment. We work with venues and businesses on permanent installations, system upgrades and individual equipment sales.

Our relationships with trade suppliers across the UK give us access to a broad range of equipment. We use those connections to find suitable options for your requirements, rather than treating every project as the same package.

Whether you need a complete system or one piece of equipment, we can help you work through compatibility, intended use and the practical details of installation. We are based in Peterborough and work across Cambridgeshire and further afield where the project requires it.

See the installation before the work starts

For AV installations, we can provide CAD previews and technical drawings showing equipment positions, layouts and cable routes before work begins. 3D visualisations and renders help you see how the proposed system will sit within the space, so we can review the design and agree the details before installation.
